ART THERAPY CORNER
This is a gallery showing images and words in relation to art psychotherapy with children in school settings.
Research shows that art is important for all children. Art is a natural form of communication for children because it is easier for them to express themselves visually rather than verbally. Art Psychotherapy can help children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Art making has also been shown to enhance cognitive abilities, improve social skills, encourage attendance and self-esteem in school-age children.
